Open Space event at the Lafayette Library

Don’t Miss:

Getting Kids Outdoors in Lafayette; a Primer for Parents and Teachers  Wed.,  April 26, 6 p.m.    – Lafayette Public Library.    According to Richard Louv, author of Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder“reconnection to the natural world is fundamental to human health, well-being, spirit, and survival.”   In Lafayette, we are blessed with many accessible outdoor spaces where kids and parents can spend time together, play, and learn.    This program will provide parents with familiarity of local outdoor spaces, lots of ideas for fun and educational activities to share with kids, and resources to help appreciate the outdoors.

Please pass this on to parents and teachers who you know!
